A smooth interlock polo made from 100% GOTS certified organic cotton, cut with a feminine shape and finished for softness. Most brands reach for synthetic blends to get this hand-feel. We got it from cotton alone.

Why it doesn't hold the heat. Polyester doesn't absorb moisture. It moves it around and then holds on to it, which is why a child comes home warm, damp, and smelling of the classroom. The smell isn't the child. It's bacteria in a fabric that never properly dries.

Our 200 gsm interlock is smoother and softer against the skin than a piqué, and every gram of it is cotton. Cotton takes moisture up and lets it go again, where polyester can only hold it, which is why it feels clammy in an air-conditioned room and hot the moment they go outside.

Caring for organic cotton. We left out the wrinkle-resistant chemical finishes most uniforms rely on, so you may see a little more creasing. That is the trade we chose for cleaner fabric against your child's skin. A quick smooth by hand out of the dryer, or a low iron, handles it. Skip the fabric softener: organic cotton softens on its own with every wash, and softener only coats the fibers and works against it. In warm climates, these wash and wear on repeat all week, and cold water with low heat keeps the color and shape holding through the school year.

A grandmother's tip: for a fresh stain, cold water and a little sun do more than most people expect, before anything stronger.
Finding your size

A note on sizing. Our polo fit is trim rather than boxy, and untreated cotton can shrink a little in the first wash. If your child is between sizes, or you want room to grow, we suggest sizing up. Wash cold and tumble dry low and it will hold its shape.

The quick way, order by age. Between sizes? Size up. Organic cotton softens beautifully with washing.

The sure way, measure a shirt that fits. Lay it flat: chest armpit to armpit, length shoulder seam to hem.

On our labels
Most brands add several labels to a garment: brand, size, content, care, and country of origin. Each one adds a little stiffness and a little to irritate against the skin.

We print our brand and product content directly onto the garment, so there is no brand tag at all. The care label and the import-detail tag are both designed to tear away easily, so your child can have fully tagless comfort whenever you prefer.

The result is a garment that puts as little as possible between your child's skin and the fabric.
